STEM WOMEN CONGRESS BARCELONA 2021<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The first day of\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0the STEM Women Congress (SWC),\u00a0<\/span>which has more than 400 registered for the two days, has presented the conclusions of\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0the Annual Report 2020,\u00a0<\/span>a study that analyzes the STEM initiatives carried out during 2020.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0The first day of the SWC focused on the\u00a0<\/span>initiatives developed\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0to promote STEM at different stages, from school to entrepreneurship, including higher education. The first day was held in digital format and was broadcast by the\u00a0<\/span>Department of Digital Policies and Public Administration<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

For the third consecutive year, the STEM Women Congress\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0makes\u00a0 female talent<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>visible and\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>promotes<\/strong>, as well as being a springboard\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0to inspire women to<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>enter the world of science. Under the premise\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0of promoting female empowerment\u00a0 in the STEM fields\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>(science, technology, engineering and mathematics), as well as\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0the presence\u00a0 of\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>women in management positions,\u00a0 the\u00a0<\/span>first day of the SWC has hosted\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>prominent personalities from the STEM field\u00a0<\/span>and internationally renowned companies<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>who have carried out different presentations and\u00a0<\/span>workshops\u00a0<\/span><\/em>focused on the importance of initiatives that promote STEM, entrepreneurship and the impact of gender stereotypes at the earliest ages.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
